This impossibly stylish project turned the entire story of Hannibal the Cannibal on its head and turned it into a powerful combination of food pornography, art direction and exceptional acting. It's filmed in such a way that each murder looks like a seemingly miraculous event.

Mads Mikkelsen, as the murderous villain in question, was as seductive and terrifying as Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs. With the TV series now being released on Netflix, this is absolutely one of the best decisions you can make if you're looking for something new to enjoy.
